Proper Tool Selection
Mastertech Diamond requires the following information to select the correct polycrystalline cutting tool.
- Application of the cutting tool & operation to be performed.
- Workpiece Material.
- Machine Type / Spindle Taper / Coolant Method / Rigidity or Condition of the machine tool.
- Speed (SFPM) / feed rate in inch per revolution (IPR) / depth of cut (DOC).
- Correct Tool Holder geometry and size for the machine tool & operation.
